I was looking for charcoal K-BBQ since meat always tastes better when cooked over coals. Mountain San is one of the only 2 in Ktown. There was a very short wait, unlike so many other trendy K-BBQ spots. We started off with the Haemul Pah Jeon/ Seafood Pancake - absolutely amazing flavor! The meat started off with some tasty brisket, and built up to mind-blowingly delicious ribs & Jumulleok (massaged ribeye) There is no reason to go to an Ayce spot when you can enjoy much better quality meats at very reasonable prices here... and be more than satisfied!. The service was on point & very friendly. Even the owner served us some tasty samples. I can't wait to go back with more friends!

La razón de darle 4 estrellas al servicio es porque no hay quien hable español y les cuesta entender un poco el inglés. Pero la comida esta muy rica especialmente las sopas la deluxe noodle y spicy beef rib son mis favoritas.

I go for the Abalone porridge all the time! Soooo good and side dishes very fresh which is very important.. although they don’t open until 10am now. They should correct that online so people like me knows not to go at 8am with a hungry stomach… ☹️

Best Korean bbq experience I’ve had since moving to LA. Met the owner who expertly cooked our meat and instructed us on how best to enjoy each course. Our waiter, Jaden, was particularly attentive, friendly, and kind. Parking was a breeze, 3 hour validation, and we got seats within 5 mins of showing up on a Friday night (around 8pm). The quality of the meat was top notch, especially the dry-aged pork belly. If you’re looking for kbbq in Ktown, this is the spot
